The Britax D-Ring Tether Connector Strap helps you connect the Versa-Tether to your Vehicle Seat Frame. All Britax Convertible Car Seats include one tether connector strap (D-Ring Tether Connector). The Britax D-Ring Tether Connector Strap is recommended for use to anchor your Britax car seat in the Rear-Facing position only. This strap should only be used if you are unable to locate a proper anchor in your vehicle.Proper anchorage points would include any structural metal part of yourvehicle that does not move. Examples of a proper anchorage point might be: - A seat frame bar
- A seat mounting rail that is bolted to the floor of the vehicle
- A fixed vehicle seat belt anchored to the floor
- A vehicle seat leg that is bolted to the floor
