All Britax Convertible Car Seats include one tether connector strap (D-Ring Tether Connector). The Britax D-Ring Tether Connector Strap is recommended for use to anchor your Britax car seat in the Rear-Facing position only. This strap should only be used if you are unable to locate a proper anchor in your vehicle. Proper anchorage points would include any structural metal part of yourvehicle that does not move.
